Privacy policy

Lumen Ritual (“we”, “us”) is published at skin-care-routine.life. This policy explains what information the site collects, how it is used, which third-party services are involved, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not sell your personal information. We do not ask for your name, address, or payment details. The information involved falls into three groups:

• Information you enter — your quiz answers, saved routines, edits, notes, budget, and shopping checklist. These stay in your own browser.
• Information you send us — the email address you type into the “email me my routine” form, or into a message you send us directly.
• Information collected automatically — standard technical data such as your browser type, device type, approximate region, and the pages you visit, gathered by our hosting provider and by advertising partners through cookies.

Your routines stay on your device

Quiz answers, saved routines, your edits and notes, routine history, monthly budget, and shopping checklist are all stored in your own browser's local storage. They are not uploaded to a server and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser data or switching device or browser removes them.

Reminders and calendar files

If you turn on routine reminders, your browser's own notification permission is used and the schedule is kept locally. Calendar (.ics) files are generated in your browser and downloaded directly — nothing is sent to us.

Email addresses

If you ask us to email your routine, your address is used once to send that message through our email delivery provider. We do not add you to a marketing list, we do not sell or rent addresses, and we do not share them with advertisers. If you email us directly we keep the message so we can reply. To have an address removed from our records, write to Lumenritualglow@gmail.com.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files a site or its partners store in your browser. This site uses them for two purposes only: to keep the site working (local storage for your routines, which is not a cookie but behaves similarly), and to serve advertising. We do not use cookies to build a personal profile of you ourselves. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the routine builder will still work, though your saved routines are cleared when you clear site data.

Google AdSense and third-party advertising

We have applied to display advertising through Google AdSense. The application is still under review, so no AdSense ads are being served on this site yet. If and when the application is approved and ads go live, the following will apply.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.
• Google's own handling of data is described in the Google Privacy & Terms.

Amazon Associates and affiliate links

Lumen Ritual is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. When you follow a product link, Amazon or another retailer may set a cookie so a resulting purchase can be attributed to this site. We receive aggregate commission reports only — never your name, address, or order details. Affiliate relationships never change which products a routine recommends. Analytics

We record anonymous, aggregate usage events — for example which quiz step was completed or how often routines are shared. These events are not tied to a name, an email address, or an account, and are used only to understand which parts of the site are useful.

How we use information

Information is used to generate and display your routine, to email your routine when you ask us to, to reply to messages, to keep the site secure and working, and to fund the site through advertising and affiliate links. We do not sell personal information.

Data retention and security

Routine data lives in your browser for as long as you keep it. Email messages are kept only as long as needed to answer them. The site is served over HTTPS, and access to any message we hold is limited to the site owner.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for people aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live — including under GDPR in the EU/UK and the CCPA in California — you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, or opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email Lumenritualglow@gmail.com. You can also delete everything the site has stored by clearing site data for this domain in your browser settings, or by deleting individual saved routines in your library.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will be updated. Material changes will be described here.
