Common questions
- Can I use vitamin C and salicylic acid in the same routine?
- You can, but there is little reason to. Morning vitamin C and evening salicylic acid gives you both benefits with far less sting.
- Which one should I apply first if I do use both?
- The exfoliant first, then wait five minutes for the skin's pH to settle before the vitamin C. Only do this if your skin already tolerates each one alone.
- Does the acid destroy the vitamin C?
- No. Vitamin C is stable at a low pH — the issue is cumulative irritation, not deactivation.
